shooting street style pictures for someone else is quite different from just shooting, usually clients have criteria (which i totally get) but without those restrictions, there is obviously more creative freedom to "make" a photograph. this was a shot that i took specifically for something i wanted on my blog.
meet yayang, i thought her details on the back of her dress was really cool (it's actually an eagle with it's wings spread out) but i also loved the way she carried herself as a person. at first i processed the shot to be in black and white but it kind of ruined her lovely pink lips. so i kept it in colour. doesn't she just have such lovely lips?
